Welcome to the Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server 2007 Training
The Office SharePoint Server 2007 Training is designed to help you learn about Microsoft Office SharePoint Server’s rich set of features.
You can learn from this training in several ways. The training includes interactive demos, articles, and videos. As you progress through the training, we recommend that you set up a practice site to try out the new features that you will be learning.
Note: For optimum clarity, do not resize the training window. If you have changed the default setting by changing the size of the window, and the images appear blurry, you will need to increase or decrease the size of the screen.
To get started, click Learner Site in the left navigation, or click the Start Training button on the home page.
You will see a list of training topics that are available. To view all of the topics within a section, click the plus sign (+) next to the training topic you want to view. To collapse a section click the minus sign (-).
Note: Works best with Internet Explorer. Download Internet Explorer if you have trouble accessing the topics.
To learn more about each training topic within a section, move your cursor over the item title. You will see a description of the topic.
Select a training topic by clicking Start, Continue, or Retake in the Action column. The Status column will show you which items you have completed, and which are incomplete. You can always retake any training topics. The Last Completed column will tell you when you last took a training topic.

When you finish a topic, click the Complete Training button at the top of the screen. You will return to the list of training topics. You will see Complete in the Status column next to the training topic you just completed.
To stop in the middle of the training, click the Continue Later button at the top of the screen and close the browser. When you open the training to continue, you will see Incomplete in the Status column next to the training topic you need to finish.
There are three different types of training topics available: Videos, interactive training, and articles.
The video files and the articles open in a new window. The video will begin playing as soon as it is opened.
There are several ways to navigate through the interactive training topics. You can click the Next button to proceed, or you can click the Back button to repeat a frame.
On some pages you will be asked to try out the instructions by clicking an item that appears on the screen. You can either click the item, or use the Next button to proceed to the next screen.
To search for a training topic on a particular subject, you can type a keyword into the Search field at the top of the screen. Training topics that correspond to the keywords you typed will appear on your screen.
